Technical Details Telescope: C11 Mount: MI-250 Camera: SBIG ST-10XME Filters: Astrodon LRGB Dates: August 15-16, 2006 Exposure: RGB (9x5min each color) plus 12x6min Lum for 207 minutes total at -20C Notes: This nebula is about 1,400 light years away. It was created by an exploding star over 5,000 years ago. This image is just part of the large nebula known as the Cygnus Loop.
