Dates: July 13-22, 2007
Exposure: LRGB: L=54x5min, RGB=36x5min each for 13.5 hours total at -25C
Notes: The Crescent Nebula is about 4,700 light years away.  This image covers about half of the nebula, which is caused from a central star ejecting large amounts of gas.  It's also known as Sharpless 2-105.  This is a planetary nebula.  The large stars are magnitude 7 stars.
