Bubble Nebula (NGC7635) in Cassiopeia

Dates: September 16-18, 2006
Exposure: RGB: 10x4min each (120 min total) color; Luminance 37x4min (148min) minutes total at -20C. 268 total minutes, or about 4.5 hours total exposure.
Notes: Also known as NGC7635, is about 7,100 light years away, and is about 6 light years wide. It is caused by a star 40 times more massive than the sun blowing material into space, and slamming into the nebula around the star, shaping it into a bubble.
